Before being licensed in Georgia in 2003 when Jeannie moved here from Philadelphia and ‘the world’, Jeannie voluntarily helped friends and colleagues make moves from around the corner to around the world as the ‘go-to relo’ person for church and business colleagues. Finally getting paid for doing what she loves, Jeannie spent the following 8 years as an individual Keller Williams agent serving buyers and sellers alike prior to joining the Joanne Curtin Team.
While exploring this wonderful city Jeannie carved out a reputation among her clients as ‘knowledgeable’, ‘proactive’, ‘professional’, ‘negotiator’, ‘extremely thorough’, ‘patient,’ ‘the best in the business,’ and our favorite, ‘friend.’
Before her professional Real Estate career, Jeannie excelled in her work as Sales Executive in the print industry ‘down under’; in ministry work in Australia and England; and in Program Management and Public Relations for an International Faith-Based Charity based in Philadelphia and around the world.
The daughter of her CIA analyst Dad (now de-classified!) and the ‘hostess with the mostest’ Mom, Jeannie grew up in Germany, Switzerland and Washington, D.C. Many may not know she is conversant in French, German and Spanish. World travel to over 30 (not a typo) countries has enriched Jeannie’s life deeply giving her an uncommon appreciation and respect for world cultures and customs.
In keeping with her zest for life, Jeannie married Gerry (a Cajun) over 40 years ago. Gerry has taught Jeannie to love the simple things in life especially great cuisine! Together they had the ‘wanderlust’ so moved their 3 young children to Australia for an exciting 8 years down under, then off to the culture and pomp of London for another 3 years.
Their 3 wonderful children now have blessed them with amazing grandchildren (most of them right here in Atlanta) so relax, she’s not going anywhere soon! They, along with Gerry, keep the gleam in her eye and the spring in her step so be aware…Jeannie is apt to show you pictures of the grandchildren (and probably Gerry too) even if you don’t ask!
In her spare time, you’ll find Jeannie entertaining (thanks to her Mom), teaching and supporting her church’s women’s ministry, volunteering for local charities, spending precious time with her husband, and (did we mention) playing with her grandchildren! What could be more fun?
