Market News & Meet Up for Homeowners

Some news about our market, “our Home Seller meet up”, and finally the big REVEAL of my master bath renovation all are featured in today’s video.

I’m excited to share with everyone that my backdrop for today’s message is my brand-new bathroom! The reason behind this total bathroom renovation was simple: I decided I was either going to love my house or list my house. This sentiment is shared by many across the market, and our stylist, Jamie, can help you with either!

Let’s now turn our attention to some current market stats:

Right now, inventory is rising and homebuyers have a greater selection of homes to consider. These buyers are looking for that new home to love.

I hope to see you at the local library meet up, only a few days away!

If you’re one of them, then I’ve got some news for you: This Thursday, May 2, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Jamie and I will be holding an educational event at the Milton Library to talk with anyone who may be thinking of selling, or a family member, to demystify the process of figuring out how to love your home or list it.

Designed specifically for current homeowners, our event will help demystify the process of deciding whether you should love or list your home. We’ll meet up at the Milton Library on Thursday, May 2, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registered guests will leave with complimentary home value advice tailored to their school district.

Don’t wait to register! (You can do so here.) Registering will ensure you receive school zone stats pertinent to your area values.

Starting at 2:25 in the video, I’ll give you a look at my new and improved bathroom and some of the features I’ve added to it, courtesy of Jamie’s stylistic ingenuity of course!

Again, I hope to see you at our educational event, which is only a few days away! In the meantime, please contact me for help with any and all of your real estate needs. Otherwise, we’ll see you at the library on May 2nd!

We’re Donating to the Tiny Houses Non-Profit!

We donated $2,000 to the Tiny Houses non-profit group! Here’s what that money goes toward.

We asked you where our donations should go, and after speaking with our board of directors, we’ve ultimately decided to go with the Tiny Houses non-profit! They’re dedicated to preventing sexual exploitation of women in the Atlanta area.

After graduating from the Wellspring program, women can come here to continue the process and gain independence. Many companies and individuals have helped this non-profit organization.

We presented a check for $2,000, and over the next 30 days, we will match up to $1,000 in donations. This money will help to pay for all sorts of finishing touches.

Thank you for all your suggestions and for making this possible. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Tiny Houses, feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

The Curtin Team Has Good News

We’re excited to share some exciting news with you.

On behalf of my team, I’d first like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the warm reception and feedback we received following the launch of our Curtin Team Cares video.

We even received some funds that we didn’t ask for nor did we expect, and we’re very grateful. The best part is that we’re only just beginning!

With the arrival of spring and the seasonal market, the weekends are becoming increasingly busy and offers are pouring in. We haven’t even had any more eyeballs on our properties outside of those that we worked on with our stylist.

With that in mind, I encourage you to click here and learn more about how you can maximize your home’s value in our current market. This link will take you to a recorded webinar we held with our stylist Jamie. Sellers will be able to extract a lot of great information from this recording, so don’t miss it!

Lastly, we’re so excited for our upcoming tailgate party, “Alive in Roswell,” which will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and we’d love for you to be part of it!

To kick off the event, we’ll first open up on the lawn of Canton Street and there’s a twist: Using our golf cart, we’ll be giving taxi-style rides to any attendee who would like to see the sights on Canton Street!

Everyone is welcome as we’ll have barbecue and adult beverages, but also ice cream and games for the kids. This will be an agenda-free event with more of a come-together-and-tailgate kind of atmosphere.

We very much look forward to seeing you there! For more information, visit our Facebook event page here.

As always, if you have any real estate-related questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’d be happy to help!
