What do I mean?
Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed the growing popularity of Zillow, Opendoor, and Offerpad in the market. These ‘iBuyers,’ as they’re often called, are simply big-box companies preying on real estate investors.

Let me give you a quick recap: We have a client whose daughter needed help moving out of her home. At the time, she was dealing with a big-box iBuyer that, not surprisingly, was trying to take advantage of her situation.
After speaking with her, we knew she’d be a great candidate for our team’s instant offer program. Ultimately, she decided to pursue this option and profited much more from her sale than she ever would have with the iBuyer company. It was a win for her and her family, which meant it was a win for the Curtin Team. We’ve got two messages to share with you today. One is for sellers and one is for buyers.
First, we want to talk to all the home sellers out there. If you’ve been a home seller before without success, there is an opportunity for a second chance in this market.
The luxury market is really coming into a softening spot right now. We believe that 38% of all properties are going through that correction right now.
On The Curtin Team, we’re increasing our appointments set by over 25%. This allows us to meet with enough clients who can afford to sell their properties. If you can sell in this market right now, history says that there is another 20% off to be had in terms of pricing.
Now, let’s talk to the buyers. Did you know that 80% of our sales on our team comes from our hyper-local market of Roswell? We know this area like the back of our hand and those big box investors like Zillow don’t. They only have 0.3% of the market share. Offerpad and Opendoor only have about 1.9%.
