My husband Tom and I just taught a class about wealth building through real estate to a fantastic group of agents. I also wanted to give you a quick update about the market. In real estate, it’s always been the case that if you have to take a bit of a haircut on the sale of your house, you’ll get a little haircut on your purchase. However, within certain pockets of our market, you can sell high and buy low, getting the best of both worlds. If you or someone you know is interested in moving, we’d love to discuss your situation and determine if now is the perfect time.
With that said, let’s take a moment to go over what’s happening now in our East Cobb area real estate market.
Especially in the $300,000-and-under price point, real estate is red-hot these days. Nearly every home priced at or below $400,000 is moving quickly and receiving multiple offers, so it’s definitely a great time to list if you’re thinking of doing so. In fact, these same conditions are largely consistent across the nation.
Sellers with homes listed between $400,000 and $600,000, meanwhile, will need to be a little more strategic if they want to earn top dollar. The market is still hot within these ranges, but it’s definitely slower-paced than the lower end of things. If you plan to list in the luxury market, you’ll be facing a different situation entirely. There is a lot of inventory to be had in the range at and above $750,000. In Roswell specifically, there is a 30-month supply of properties in this range. We haven’t seen this kind of inventory since 2009.

Hello everyone! In light of our upcoming summer movie premiere event, I’d like to give you some details ahead of time, and that includes the unveiling of the movie we’ll be showing!
The official start to summer this year is on Friday, June 21, and because our movie parties are always on Saturday mornings, this year’s will be the very next day—June 22. Doors open at 9 a.m. and showtime will be 9:30 a.m. at Aurora Cineplex.
Each year, we’re reminded of why we do these movie parties: Every bit of our business throughout the year comes from you and the referrals you send our way. No matter if the referrals you send us don’t call or call later, we’re infinitely grateful that you’re sharing our name and the positive experience you’ve had working with us.

And without further ado, the movie we’re screening is Toy Story 4! In case you don’t remember where we left off in the story, Andy will be giving the toys to Bonnie, and she’s making a new arts-and-crafts toy from a fork. The fourth movie will chronicle the fork’s adventures and how it learns to be a toy.

We’ve finally settled into our new digs and now we’re ready to celebrate! We are so excited to kickoff 2018 with all of you.
In early 2016 we took the leap in moving out of our cramped spaces at the KW Roswell office. We were literally working on top of each other! The Team found a temporary spot with plenty of room to grow (or so we thought). By Fall of 2017 we were, again, busting at the seams. We’ve always had the vision to have our Mega Agent Office in the heart of Roswell. What better place to be in the mix of all the hustle, bustle, and growth than on Canton Street? We’re nestled in a sweet little spot surrounded by a few historical Roswell landmarks, old and new businesses alike, and charming residences.
We truly feel at home here and can’t wait to open our doors to all of you to show our gratitude. Our Grand Opening event is for all to enjoy – Past, Present, and Future clients, our dependable vendors and partners, neighboring businesses and community, friends and family – we would not be here today without your support and trust! Did we mention that the the Mayor of Roswell will be there for a special ribbon cutting event, just to make it official? 🙂
