Giving Back, Locally
Curtin Team Cares is our non-profit organization, founded in 2018, by Tom and Joanne Curtin to support the people and organizations that make our community thrive. Rooted in education and driven by compassion, our mission is to provide meaningful, local support where it’s needed most.
A portion of the proceeds from every home we sell is donated to Curtin Team Cares, helping fund ongoing initiatives and allowing us to respond thoughtfully to needs within our local community.

The Roswell Home Refresh Project
One of Curtin Team Cares’ most meaningful initiatives is the Roswell Home Refresh Project, an annual effort dedicated to honoring a deserving Roswell teacher or school staff member.
Each year, recipients are nominated by their peers — colleagues who recognize someone who has gone above and beyond for students and the community, often during a particularly challenging year. These nominations allow us to shine a light on individuals whose dedication is felt every day, even when their work goes unseen.
Through the Home Refresh Project, Curtin Team Cares brings together community partners, vendors and volunteers to provide thoughtful home improvements and support, offering encouragement, relief, and a meaningful reminder that their impact is valued and appreciated.
Education at the Heart of Our Mission
Joanne Curtin’s background as an educator has deeply shaped the focus of Curtin Team Cares. Her experience in the classroom created a lasting appreciation for the role education plays in strengthening families and communities — and continues to guide how we give back.
In addition to the Roswell Home Refresh Project, Curtin Team Cares supports education-focused initiatives throughout the year. This includes annual scholarships — including support for students at Roswell High School — as well as partnerships with organizations such as the Children’s Development Academy (CDA) that help build strong educational foundations for children and families.
Curtin Team Cares reflects a core belief of The Curtin Team: caring for our community is not a side initiative — it’s part of who we are. By pairing real estate expertise with intentional giving, we’re able to support our community with consistency, care, and purpose.
