Joanne Curtin is the visionary founder of The Curtin Team and a respected leader in the real estate industry, known for her persistence, innovation, and over two decades of impact.

She began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher, but a deep curiosity about investing and building wealth—sparked by Rich Dad, Poor Dad—led her to make a bold career change. In 2001, Joanne founded the Curtin Team in North Atlanta. With relentless determination, she and her husband Tom grew it into one of the most successful real estate teams in the region, closing over helping more than 2,000 clients.

Joanne’s leadership also helped launch and co-own the Keller Williams Realty Consultants Roswell Market Center, now a top office in the Southeast. And she has helped countless agents launch successful careers of their own in real estate.

In 2018, Joanne co-founded Curtin Team Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that reflects her deep commitment to service and community impact. As President, she leads initiatives that support families and individuals in need throughout North Atlanta, organizing fundraisers, volunteer projects, and direct aid efforts that make a meaningful difference.

A University of Georgia graduate with a Master’s in Education, Joanne continues to teach and inspire within the real estate community. Originally from Dalton, Georgia, she now lives in Milton with her husband Tom, their two children, and their beloved dogs, Fluff and Charlie.

Drawing on his background in marketing, he helped shape a client-focused organization that has closed over 2,000 home sales.

A key contributor to launching the Keller Williams Realty Roswell Market Center, Tom’s leadership helped establish it as one of the top-performing offices in the Southeast Region. In addition to his executive role, he actively manages a real estate investment portfolio in North Atlanta and mentors others on building wealth through real estate.

Tom is deeply passionate about real estate investing and empowering others to achieve financial freedom. His belief in work-life balance led to the creation of a team model that allows Realtors to thrive professionally while enjoying personal fulfillment.

He holds a business degree from the University of Georgia’s Honors Program and is a proud Roswell High School graduate. Outside of work, Tom enjoys hiking and spending time at his cabin in Blue Ridge. He and Joanne live in Milton and are proud parents of a son at the University of Tennessee and a daughter in high school.

Lynne Miller Account Manager

Lynne comes to the Curtin Team with 15 years of experience in the legal field. As Account Manager, her role revolves around ensuring that all buyers and sellers receive the utmost attention, overseeing all aspects of real estate transactions to insure a smooth transition from agreement to closing.(read more)

When Lynne is not dedicating herself to her professional pursuits, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends. Being a devoted soccer and dance mom, she can often be found on the pitch or in a dance studio.

Currently residing in Roswell, Georgia, Lynne is happily married to her husband Danny. Together, they are raising her two wonderful children: son Logan and daughter Lily, along with their beloved dog, Jackson. Her step-daughter, Shelby, will be attending UGA (Lynne’s alma mater) in the fall.

Lynne continues to embrace the importance of work-life balance and cherishes the moments spent with her loved ones. She values the opportunities to create lasting memories, whether it's through family vacations, game nights, or simply enjoying quality time at home.

Shelbi Kelly Inside Sales Associate

Shelbi is an optimistic and enthusiastic sales professional with over ten years of experience in customer service. Her role is crucial for building long term client relationships and connecting buyers and sellers. She is skilled at developing the right action plan for each client’s specific needs and committed to helping them achieve their real estate goals. (read more)

Throughout her career, Shelbi has been passionate about listening and nurturing relationships with clients and earning their trust. She strives to be a confidant, actively listening to clients and putting their needs first. Shelbi is originally a Denver native. She recently relocated from Los Angeles to Alpharetta, where she is eager to put down roots. She enjoys planning trips to new places and spending time outdoors.

Kanani Briggs Agent Partner, Realtor

She is passionate about serving others while also making a positive impact in the world. Kanani was born and raised in Hawaii and has lived in 7 states so she is no stranger to the moving process! She has a particular interest in helping families who are relocating to our area. Kanani lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Scott, two college sons, Dominic and Riley, and two rescue dogs, Hutch and Rocky. Kanani also serves on the board of the Children's Development Academy in Roswell and enjoys volunteering in our community. Kanani blends her business background, life coaching tools, and her commitment to serving others to help others make their best real estate move. She is dedicated to making the home buying and selling process a positive experience.

Shari Sautner Agent Partner, Realtor

Shari Sautner has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and has been in real estate since 2009. She currently lives in Crabapple/Milton with her two sons. Heather Woodruff Agent Partner, Realtor

Heather is an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Real Estate Collaboration Specialist in Divorce (RCS-D), and certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). Heather's desire to become a realtor was fueled by her own home search. She realized that buyers, in particular, need smart, resourceful agents to advocate for them and will go that extra mile. Heather is a deep listener, problem solver, and seasoned negotiator. Heather grew up in upstate New York and attended Ithaca College, where she received an MS in physical therapy. Richard Miller Attorney at Law

Richard earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science, and his law degree from the University of South Carolina. He began his law career as a litigation attorney before moving into real estate. He is active in the community and currently serves on the Residential Real Estate Subcommittee for the Real Estate Section of the Georgia Bar Association. Richard and his wife, Kris, have a daughter and three sons. His daughter, Katie, is also a team member at Miller & Associates.

Kern Autrey Schwartz Attorney at Law

Kern is a closing attorney with O’Kelley & Sorohan and manages their Alpharetta office.

She is a Georgia native and received her law degree from the University of Georgia in 1999. After several years as a litigator, Kern discovered a strong interest in residential real estate and has been conducting closings for fifteen years in metro Atlanta.

Kern worked in government relations in Washington, D.C. before returning to Georgia for law school. She is married and has three sons.
